' APHRODITE'S   CHATROOM'

Shortly after Aphrodite leaves the LAVF Chatroom biz--whether for some other form of showbiz or not--she becomes romantically involved with someone from outside the chatroom world. He's well aware both of her chatroom career & what an exceptional individual in general the quick-witted, stylish yet sensitive blonde bombshell he has on his hands is. (We see him as a strong, sympathetic character who is capable of adoring the ever-changing Aphrodite almost as wholeheartedly as (we think) she deserves). However he also realizes that he has a lot on his hands, what with a former superstar chathostesses whom he realizes can never be divested of her Aphroditic/erotic identity. And who probably never should be divested of that identity, lest the image which entrances him be dismantled--i.e., he too likes it that she's so bright yet so exceptionally good-looking & sexy. Like chatroom guests during Aphrodite's various appearances in her chatroom during the drama, he too is charmed by the idea that his lady has so many characteristics in common with Aphrodite of Greek Myth, that she either is--or might as well be--Love Goddess Aphrodite herself. Wondering what the relationship will eventually bring & what Aphrodite's next metamorphosis may be--& musing on what the twist & turns of the possibly harrowingly demanding emotional labyrinth he has knowingly entered into may lead to--he sings:

MYSTERIES

There are many things which are a mystery to me
Like how many stars there are, or mermaids in the sea,
Many things which really are a complete mystery to me
Like the meanings of tealeaves in a cup, or the lines in my own hand,
& What the true purpose of life is, & will our struggles ever end
& How many kinds of love there are
(They all shine on in my mind like the patterns of the stars,
Northern Lights shimmering at twilight,
Comets blazing on the horizon, or meteor showers in the midnight sky)
It's all a mystery to me, yes a complete mystery to me

Almost as deep as why love can linger on in just one heart, long after two lovers say goodbye.

There are so many things which are a mystery to me
(Many, many things which are a deep mystery to me)
Like how many stars there are, or mermaids in the sea,
Like whether the sphinx is smiling, & what symbols on cave walls mean
And whether the world is really ruled by forces that can’t be seen
And what true goodness is, & who the true Gods & Goddesses are
And if Deities are real, whether they walk among us still
& Why loving always feels like it takes away part of one's free will
(These mysteries all shine on in my mind like the patterns of the stars
Northern Lights shimmering at twilight,
Comets blazing on the horizon, or meteor showers in the midnight sky)
They're all deep mysteries to me, yes complete mysteries to me

Almost as deep as why love can linger on in just one heart, long after two lovers say goodbye.

And I wonder when the night is over, where do the shadows go
And why after loving’s over, there should be an afterglow
And how come the more we learn about in life, the more there is to know
& Whether the world will end with the sun exploding, or meteors raining down & land & sea
& What fate has in store for you & me, my Love, what fate has in store for you & me

& I also keep on puzzling
Over simpler, relatively inconsequential things

Like how many stars there are, or mermaids in the sea...
